Twenty ad variants, one winner: AI as your copy test lab
After a decade of running Meta ads for DTC brands, my strongest belief: nobody knows which ad wins. Not you, not me, not the AI. Testing knows. AI just makes testing nearly free.
- Feed the model your product, audience and three different angles (price, outcome, fear-of-missing-out, social proof…).
- Ask for 5 variants per angle — different hooks, not synonyms. Kill the duds by eye; you'll have 8–10 real candidates.
- Run them small. Let the click-through and cost data pick 2–3 winners.
- Feed results back: "these won, these lost — 10 more like the winners." This loop, repeated weekly, is the entire secret.
The model drafts; the market edits. Businesses that internalize that order stop arguing about taste in meetings.
