Claude Design launched this week — a landing page without a designer

Describe what you want; get a designed, editable page. A genuinely new option for small businesses.

On April 17 Anthropic released Claude Design (research preview, Pro plans and up) — you describe a page, deck or one-pager, and it produces a designed version you refine by talking to it or clicking on elements.

How to get good results as a non-designer:

  • Bring real content — your actual headline, services and numbers. Lorem ipsum in, generic out.
  • Name a mood, not a layout: "trustworthy consultant, warm paper tones, no startup clichés" beats "put a hero section on top".
  • Iterate in small steps — change the accent color, then the typography, then a section. One thing at a time.
  • It's a research preview: expect rough edges and watch your usage limits on heavy iteration days.

The output is a real, editable design — which means a developer (or Claude Code) can turn it into your live site rather than starting over.
